Welded: 1985
Length of welded crack 70 cm
with 19 cm wall thickness

The most valuable bell with the nicest sound of the whole world is sustained with our welding method. The official bell expert, Dipl-Ing. Kurt Kramer summed up after the bell welding work:

"The Gloriosa has not only had its voice returned to it after everybody thought it had been lost, in fact it sounds much better than any living person has ever heard it."

The resonance time, a major bell parameter, which previously had been a good three and a half minutes, has been increased to almost five minutes since the bell was welded.
